Sports Betting Advice

Welcome to boxingforecast.com. I'm Evan Young, your Boxing Forecaster. Over a lifetime of study, I've learned to recognize underrated prizefighters and overrated favorites. At the same time, I've noticed that most sports betting advice about boxing bets lacks the kind of in-depth analysis and complete understanding of the sport that is needed to deliver long-term profitability. I've developed a system for placing successful boxing bets – often by going against the odds! If you want the thrill of making money betting on boxing - without risking your neck - this web site is for you!

The key to my sports betting advice is recognizing when the oddsmakers get it wrong - then systematically placing small, low-risk wagers on carefully researched fights. No, it's not as exciting as rolling the dice for big money, but it doesn't hurt when you lose a boxing bet, and it feels great when you win! No you won't win them all, but when you bet against the odds, and do it sensibly, your wins will more than make up for your losses. (See "How to Bet on Boxing").Yes, there are times when I may recommend placing a boxing bet on a front-runner, but I prefer to find value in the underdog whenever possible. It's like "value-investing" in the stock market. If you can pick an undervalued stock you have a greater chance of making a profit. If you can recognize "value" in underrated boxers, you can be a frequent winner – against the odds!

When you subscribe to BoxingForecast you'll have access to all my betting advice, starting with my detailed analyses of "bettable" fights every week. I select two, three, or four fights each week from contests in all weight classes from all over the world, not just the popular, high profile fights that most boxing sports betting advice is all about. Sometimes the fighters are virtually unknown in the U.S. I don't handicap every fight. My goal is to provide you with enough solid picks every week for you to diversify your boxing bets, and spread the risk. When you read my forecasts, you'll see how and why I make my picks, and exactly how much I think you should wager on each fight (See my "Sports Betting System"). At times I may tell you to stay away from a match, because the results can't be predicted with confidence. Naturally I can't promise success every time. But if past history is any guide, more than 50% of my betting advice will lead you to boxing bets that win. And that's all you need to put money in the bank. If you want to see the results of this strategy, take a look at my Track Record.

We had a solid, overall winning weekend riding the wave of 2 underdog plays in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday.

Stephen Smith was able to nip tough John Simpson and brave 4-1 underdog Ricky Burns was able to shock Roman Martinez in a grueling see saw battle. Great win for Burns, copping the WBO super featherweight crown in the process.

New picks coming later in the week with an interesting schedule of bouts to review.

"I've never seen a more consistently successful tipster in any sport in all the time I have been betting. Most of them seem to promise a lot and never deliver or start out well and then go downhill rapidly. Your selections though just keep getting better every week.” - Peter H. - U.K.
"I have been betting on boxing for quite some time but I have completely stopped making picks myself, im a sucker for the favorites and have been getting much much better returns from your picks, its all about the longer term and anyone can see from your results that in the long run its been excellent.” - Mike L - U.K.

Smith catches up with Crawford, stops him in the 9th
Antwone Smith scored a 9th round stoppage over previously undefeated Henry Crawford on Showtime Friday night at the First Council Casino, Newkirk, Oklahoma. Smith was only a slight favorite to win and I know many thought Crawford had a very good chance to win. I picked Smith, believing he'd he too busy and consistent for Crawford.
